Hello my dear readers!! As you may know I love painting my nails, I've done various posts about the topic. So today I'm going to show you my step-by-step at home manicure, from prep to paint!

The first step is to remove any old nail polish and cuticles if thats the case. I start off by applying some nail polish remover on a cotton ball and remove any old nail polish left on my nails. Then I like to apply something to help remove any excess cuticles, for example the O.P.I Avoplex Exfoliating Cuticle Treatment.

Next I file my nails so the have a great shape. Then I apply a base coat, this time I applied O.P.I Nail Envy Nail Strengthener first (I don't always do this, only when I feel my nails are weak!), for my base coat I used Essence The Gel Nail Polish Base Coat.

The next step is to paint the nails. I normally paint two thin coats, which I think works the best. The nail polish I'm using today is Essie Nail Polish Fiji.

To finish off I use a top coat to give shine and to help the manicure last longer, I used the Essence The Gel Nail Polish Top Coat. Since I have no patience while my nails dry, I use Essence Nail Art Express Dry Drops. Then I like to apply a cuticle oil and a hand cream so everything stays nice and moisturized! O.P.I Avoplex Cuticle Oil to Go, Nivea Nutritivo Smooth.
