Summer is nearing an end, sooner or later we'll have to say goodbye to summer dresses, sandals, the lovely sun and even our glowing tan...it's so sad! If your anything like me, then your not quite ready to say goodbye to your beautifully tanned skin...but don't give up, there are plenty of things you can do to help make your tan last longer. One way, and my favorite, is to lightly exfoliate the skin and keep it moisturized. Here is a personalized DIY sugar scrub that will help you do just that!

This recipe is so easy, you only need 3 ingredients, and the best part is, you can personalize how ever you like! You can change the measurements in case you want more or less exfoliant. The base for this exfoliant is sugar, I prefer sugar to salt because it's much smoother on the skin, and the whole point is to help your tan last longer, so we want a soft exfoliant. Next we have tea, yes tea!...this is one of the ingredients you can personalize, you can choose the tea you like the most, the tea is mainly for the smell (which is amazing!), but I think it also helps with the exfoliation! Then the last ingredient is the oil which will join everything together...you can also personalize for the effect you want, you can use olive oil if you want a hydrating scrub, coconut oil if you want something more nourishing, or even lemon juice if you want to help brighten up the skin.

- 1/2 chávena de açúcar
- 3/4 chávena de óleo (azeite, coco, ou limão)
- 1 a 2 sacos/colheres de chá seco
Instruções:
Colocar o açúcar numa tigela e envolver o chá. Adicione o óleo até criar a consistência desejada.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup oil (olive, coconut, or lemon)
- 1 to 2 tea bags/teaspoons of dry tea
Directions:
Place sugar in a small bowl and mix in the dry tea. Add the oil until you get the desired consistency.
