How to Wear a Bright Orange Lip

Olá minhas queridas leitoras!! Na mais recente Makeup of the Day eu fiz um look baseado na cor laranja mas não utilizei nenhum batom vibrante, por isso hoje estou de volta com um look que se baseia exactamente nisso!

Eu sempre tive bastante medo da cor laranja, é uma cor que raramente utilizo seja em roupa ou em maquilhagem, mas as vezes sabe bem experimentar coisas novas, e o que é certo é que estou a adorar o resultado! Vamos lá à maquilhagem!!

Hello my dear readers!! In my most recent Makeup of the Day I did a look based on the color orange but I didn't use a bright orange lip, so today I'm back with a look that is based around just that!

I've always been afraid of the color orange, and I rarely use it, be it in fashion or makeup, but sometimes its good to get out of your comfort zone and try new thing, and I've been loving the results! Let's get to the makeup!!



Quando se utiliza um batom de uma cor vibrante, seja essa cor vermelho, laranja, roxo, etc. é muito importante começar com uma pele perfeita, por isso aconselho a utilizar uma base de cobertura média em junção com um corrector para ajudar a criar uma pele linda. Comecei por aplicar a base Rimmel Match Perfection 102 Light Nude, e coloquei em toda a face e um pouco no pescoço. Depois coloquei o corrector Elf Maximum Coverage Concealer em Nude para tapar algumas imperfeições. Acho que sobrancelhas bem estimadas fazem toda a diferença quando se utiliza um batom forte, eu preenchei as minhas com Catrice Eye Brow Stylist 030 Brow -n- eyed Peas. Nos meus olhos decidi utilizar uma sombra com um tom dourado e castanho, utilizei uma combinação de dois da minha paleta Valentin Mon Amour da Marionnaud (utlima coluna, segunda e quarta sombra a contar do topo). E como não podia faltar, apliquei a máscara de pestanas L’Oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga Punky. Como blush utilizei dois produtos diferentes, um blush em forma de creme, o Shiseido Accentuating Color Stick S2 Peach Flush e o tom laranja da minha paleta Valentin Mon Amour da Marionnaud. E por fim a estrela deste look é o batom Essence 01 Crowd Gone Wild.

Whenever you use a strong lip color it's very important that you start off with a perfect base, use a medium coverage foundation and concealer to create a beautiful flawless skin. I started off by applying my Rimmel Match Perfection 102 Light Nude foundation. Then I applied the ELF Maximum Coverage Concealer, to help reduce my dark circles and even out my skin tone. Having beautifully groomed eyebrows also helps when using strong lip colors, I filled mine in with the Catrice Eye Brow Stylist 030 Brow -n- eyed Peas. On my eyes I decided to use an eyeshadow that had a golden hint to it with a brown undertone, so I used a mix of two eyeshadows from my Valentin Mon Amour da Marionnaud palette (last column, second and fourth eyeshadow counting from the top). And don't forget to apply mascara, I used the L’Oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga Punky mascara. For blush I used a combination of two blushes, a cream blush Shiseido Accentuating Color Stick S2 Peach Flush and the orange colored blush from the Valentin Mon Amour da Marionnaud palette. And the star of this look, the Essence 01 Crowd Gone Wild lipstick.
