Hello!! There's been an explosion of Chubby Stick products in the market for some time now, which come in various forms...as foundation, corrector, contour, blush, lipstick... Today I'm going to talk about color lip balm Chubby Sticks, from Clinique and Catrice.
So let's get to it!
Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm
Eu pessoalmente ADORO produtos Clinique, já os uso desde adolescente, é uma marca com produtos de qualidade sem os preços extravagantes (às vezes!). Quando saiu os Chubby Sticks da Clinique, fui logo a correr para comprar um, já que sou fã de produtos "tudo em um", hidratante, cor e super fácil de utilizar, só colocar na mala e posso aplicar sem um espelho...perfeito! Como foi de esperar eu adorei o produto, foi tudo o que antecipei, hidratante, cor linda e muito fácil de usar, ideal para férias e para uma maquilhagem simples.
I personally LOVE Clinique products, I've been using them ever since I was a teen, it's a high quality brand without the high price tags (most of the time!). As soon as Clinique released there Chubby Sticks, I could wait to get my hands on it, since I've always been a fan of "all in one" products, moisturizing, tint and super easy to use, just throw in your purse and you can apply without the help of a mirror...perfect! Well I loved the product, it was everything I was hoping it would be, moisturizing, beautiful colour and easy to use, ideal for vacations and no fuss makeup days.

Catrice Pure Shine Colour Lip Balm
Um dia a passar pela Wells, o meu olhar desviou para a montra da Catrice, e tive um pequeno ataque de felicidade quando vi que a Catrice tinha lançado um Chubby Stick idêntico, ou quase ao da Clinique, e como é óbvio tive de o comprar. É bastante parecido ao da Clinique...querem saber as diferenças? Aqui vai!
One day while passing by the drugstore, my eyes drifted to the Catrice makeup display and I had a little attack of happiness because I saw that Catrice had launched a Chubby Stick almost identical to Clinique, so I had to have it. It is very much a like to Clinique...do you want to know in what way? Here we go!

Semelhanças / Similarities
A embalagem / Packaging - Idênticas, ambas enroscam e não é necessário afiar. Identical, both can be screwed up or down, no need to sharpen.
Pigmentação / Pigmented - Ambas tem uma pigmentação forte tendo em conta que são bálsamos. Both have strong pigmentation considering that they are lip balms.
Hidratação / Moisturizing - Ambas são hidratantes, mas achei o da Clinique um pouco mais devido ao Shea Butter mas é algo que mal se nota. Both are moisturizing, but I thought Clinique was a little more because of the Shea Butter but its something that is hardly noticeable.
Diferenças / Diferences
Quantidade de produto / Product quantity - Clinique - 3g. Catrice - 2.5g.
Preço / Price - Clinique - 18.90€. Catrice - 5.69€.
Cheiro / Smell - Clinique tem um cheiro demasiado forte a flores (perfume) apesar de não prolongar não é muito agradável. Por outro lado, o da Catrice tem um cheiro doce a baunilha muito agradável. Clinique has a strong floral fragrance which is not very pleasant but it does not linger. On the other hand, Catrice has a very sweet yummy vanilla smell.
Para terminar, são as duas óptimas escolhas, se adoras produtos Clinique, tens uma variedade enorme de cores lindas por onde escolher e se preferes algo com mais pigmentação tens o Intense (pelo mesmo preço). Por outro lado, se não tas disposta a gastar 18,90€ por um bálsamo, a Catrice oferece uma boa alternativa e ficas muito bem servido!
Both products are great picks, if you love Clinique products, you have a huge variety of beautiful colours from which to choose and if you prefer something with stronger pigmentation you have the Intense (for the same price). On the other hand, if your not willing to waste 18,90€ for a lip balm, Catrice is a great alternative!
