Session 3

Olá queridas leitoras! A pensar em vocês, eu e mais duas excelentes bloggers, decidimos unir e colaborar em algo que vamos chamar Session 3.

Antes de mais, quem são as bloggers? Uma é a Joana (amiga há mais de 7 anos) da Far Off Places, um blog excelente sobre praticamente tudo, desde comida, produtos, beleza, moda, etc. O outro é a Catarina da A Girl In Mint Green, que descobri num evento que participei (troca de prendas entre bloggers). Só pelo titulo do blog soube logo que nos íamos dar muito bem. É um blog maravilhoso sobre dicas de beleza, moda, o seu gato, e muito muito mais, vale a pena visitar!

Agora o que é isto da Session 3? Bem é tão simples como, 3 bloggers que se juntam para falar de um assunto, seja esse assunto reviews de produtos, discussão de produtos favoritos, gostos mensais...muita coisa mesmo! A vantagem será que terá 3 opiniões diferentes, três pontos de vista, o triplo da informação, não é excelente?

E vocês? Querem fazer parte da Session 3, digam nos o que querem saber, algum produto em especial, alguma questão sobre moda, os nosso favoritos...?

Hello my dear readers! Thinking of you, me and two other great bloggers, decided to join forces and calaobrate on something super special to me, called Session 3.

Before getting into what is Session 3, lets see who are the bloggers. First up is Joana (long time friend, 8 years! crazy) from Far Off Places, an excellent blog about almost anything, food, beauty, fashion, products, etc. Then there's Catarina from A Girl In Mint Green, which I discovered during an event (blogger gift swap). Just by the name of the blog I knew we would get a long beautifully. Her blog is just wonderful, she talks about beauty tips and tricks, fashion, and lets not forget her beautiful cat, and a lot lot more, certainly a blog to check out!

Now, what is Session 3? Well it´s rather simple, 3 bloggers who get together and talk about a certain subject. That could be reviews, product discussion, our favorites, what were loving...a lot of things! What makes this so special is that you'll have 3 different opinions, three different points of view, triple the information, isn't that great?

The Skin Detox

Depois de duas semanas cheias de festa (Natal/Passagem de Ano) em que carrego a pele com muita maquilhagem, gosto de ter um dia especialmente dedicado a minha pele.

After a couple of weeks wearing heavy makeup (Christmas/New Year's), I like to have a day dedicated to taking care of my skin.

1. Limpo a cara com a Água Micelar da Corine de Farme. / Wash my face with a Micellar Water from Corine de Farme.


2. Aplico uma máscara facial (Yves Rocher Máscara Iluminador 3 minutos, The Body Shop Máscara Hidratante Vitamina E) / Apply a face mask. (Yves Rocher 3 minute Illuminating face mask, The Body Shop Hydrating Vitamin E face mask)


3. Coloco um creme hidratante da Benamôr. / Apply a moisturizing day cream from Benamôr. 


4. Coloco um creme de olhos da Oriflame. / Apply an eye cream from Oriflame.


5. Termino com um balsamo para os lábios secos da Anatomicals. / Finish with a minty lip balm for dry lips from Anatomicals. 

A Simple Detox

Depois destes dias de festa com tanta comida boa (e muiiitaa) é normal que queremos fazer uma pausa, uma espécie de dieta. Eu não sou fã de dietas nem detox's mas sou fã de fazer uma semana com receitas mais leves a seguir a esta altura de festas. Aqui estão algumas receitas que gosto de utilizar, espero que gostem e experimentem.

After so many days of "festive" eating it's normal that we want to have a little pause in our heavy eating. I'm not a fan of dieting or detoxing, but I am a fan of having a week of healthier meals after the holiday's. Here are some recipes I like to eat, hope you like it and try them out.

• Detox Water

• Roasted Carrot Soup

• Lemon Chicken

• Green Lemonade

• Spinach Lasagna

• Mushroom Risotto

Fashion Friday #7

Hoje venho falar sobre uma peça muito clássica que devia estar presente no guarda roupa de qualquer mulher, o Casaco de Cabedal. Eu adoro esta peça, fica bem com tudo, vestidos, calças de ganga, etc. Existe um casaco perfeito para toda a gente, em várias cores e feitios. Tenho aqui alguns conselhos para ajudar a escolher um casaco de cabedal perfeito para o teu tipo de corpo.

Today I'm going to talk about a very classic piece of wardrobe that should be present in every woman's closet, The Leather Jacket. I love this piece, it look's perfect with any outfit, dresses, jeans, etc. There's a perfect jacket for everyone, the leather jacket can be found in various colors and forms. I have some advise that can help you find the perfect leather jacket for your body type.

• As Baixinhas / Petite

Se és baixinha, deves optar por um casaco que assenta acima da anca, alongando assim as pernas.

If your petite you should opt for a jacket that is cropped, it should end higher than your hips, helping elongate your legs.

• As Meninas das Curvas / Curvy Women

Se nasceste com curvas (o que eu acho lindo!), deves optar por um casaco que as mostre, por isso deve usar um casaco que seja cintado, justo ao corpo e com pouca confusão (poucos fechos).

If you were blessed with curves (which I think is lovely!), you should opt for a jacket that is cinched at the waist, that hugs your curves and with minimal confusion (not some many zippers).

• Sem Curvas / Curve Less

Se não tiveres muitas curvas, opta por um casaco com detalhes, detalhes nos braços, fechos diagonais, golas grandes, peplum, etc.

If you have few curves, opt for a jacket with details, quilted arms, diagonal zippers, shoulder pads, peplum, etc.
