IMG_0613Olá minhas queridas leitoras!!

Hello my dear readers!! It’s been a while since I’ve shared with you guys a recipe here on the blog. But today I’m back with a super fast and super delicious recipe!! I'm not a big fan of complicated recipes, and for the most part, healthy recipes don't really interest me, but if your anything like me then you'll love this recipe, it's easy, super tasty, and you can make it in batches to last you the week. Are you ready to find out??

Estou a adorar!

  1. Pré-aqueça o fogão a 180 graus.

If you follow me on Instagram then you've probably seen this recipe. I've been loving this granola, it's made with old-fashioned oats, coconut oil, honey, cocoa powder and chia seeds. The best part is you can personalize it however you like, switch up the cocoa powder for cinnamon or anything else. I love mixing a bit with some greek yogurt, as cereal or just as it is.

[recipe title="Chocolate and Chia Seed Granola" servings="Half a Jar" time="45mins" difficulty="easy"]

Ingredients:IMG_0622

  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats

  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds

  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil

  • 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder

  • 1/4 cup of honey

  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • handful of dark chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients, old-fashioned oats, chia seeds, and cocoa powder.

  3. Add melted coconut oil, honey and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir to combine.

  4. Pour the granola onto a baking sheet and spread into an even layer. Be sure not to compact it.

  5. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring after 20 minutes to keep the granola from clumping too much. Take out of the oven and let cool.

  6. Once completely cooled, sprinkle on the chocolate chips and give it a stir.

This recipe can be stored in an air tight container and be kept for 2-3 weeks.
