Makeup of the Day #20

IMG_9534Olá minhas queridas leitoras!!

Hello my dear readers!! Last week, on Facebook I asked what makeup look you would like to see for this week, and my dear friend, Joana from the blog Far Off Places suggested I do a more elaborated look. After playing around with my makeup I came up with this look, a Summer look inspired by the ocean waves. Let's get to the makeup!

Up The Jam Catrice Absolute Eye Colour. Depois decidi aplicar um iluminador, coloquei o Elf Studio Baked Blush em Pinktasic a baixo da sobrancelha para ajudar a levantar o olhar, coloquei o Catrice Long Lasting Eye Pencil Waterproof 080 These Blues Are Made for Walking na minha linha de água, e a máscara de pestanas L’Oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga Punky.

Since this look has a lot of different eyeshadows, and there's bound to be fall out, I started off with the eyes, by applying an eyeshadow base, the Essence I Love Stage Eyeshadow Base and I applied it with my fingers. I started by applying a dark navy eyeshadow from my Sleek I-Divine Eyeshadow Palette in Original in the outer corner of my eye in the shape of a ">" and buffed out the edges. Next I applied a medium tone blue from my Sephora palette from the center of my lid to the outer corner meeting up with the dark navy, creating a gradient blue effect, and blending so not to have ruff edges. I applied the same color under my waterline and meeting up with the outer corner. For my inner corner to the center of my lid I applied two different eyeshadows, a light blue aqua color toward the center of my lid and a vivid green color in the tear duct, both from my Valentin Mon Amour from Marionnaud palette (first column, 4th and 5th eyeshadow counting from the top). For my crease I decided to apply a purple toned eyeshadow, the 570 Plum Up The Jam Catrice Absolute Eye Colour and blend so there are no visible edges. Then I applied a highlighter under my eyebrow to help lift it, I used the Elf Studio Baked Blush in Pinktasic, on my waterline I applied the Catrice Long Lasting Eye Pencil Waterproof 080 These Blues Are Made for Walking, and used the L’Oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga Punky mascara. I then used the Catrice Eye Brow Stylist to help shape my eyebrows. And finally I'm done with the eyes! Before going to the rest of the face, I decided to clean up any fall out with a makeup wipe. Now to the rest of the face, I applied the Rimmel Match Perfection 102 Light Nude foundation all over my face and a little down the neck. Then I applied the ELF Maximum Coverage Concealer, to help reduce my dark circles and even out my skin tone, and finished up with the ELF loose powder. On my cheeks I applied two different products, first I used my Shiseido Accentuating Color Stick S2 Peach Flush which is a cream blush, then applied the Giordani Bronzing Pearls from Oriflame over top, and used the Elf Studio Baked Blush in Pinktasic as a highlighter on the high points of my face. For my lips I also used two different products, first I started off by lining my lips with the Catrice Precision Lip Liner 030 Lost in the Rose Wood then filled them in the Catrice Infinite Shine Lip Gloss 040 Like a Nude Life.
